Media management

You can enable media in Analytics to reserve a special set of Media Solution Variables for use in measurement and reporting. These variables behave like Custom Evars, Events, and Props, but do not count against your variable limits. After they are enabled, your users will see a new set of Media reports in the Analytics menus.

Analytics > Admin > Report Suites > Edit Settings > Media Management.

The following Media Management options are available when editing a report suite:

  • Media Reporting

    Reports specific to Streaming Media are available on the Media Reporting page. For more information about Media Reporting, see Media reports enablement.

  • Media Classifications

    Classifications specific to Streaming Media are available on the Media Classifications page. For information about Classifications, see Conversion classifications.
